Just a note to thank you and your company for an excellent night on the Avontur New Years Eve it was brilliant, everything was excellent, the boat, the food, entertainment, and of course the view of the fireworks. All of our party really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.

We were on your King Edward boat on New Years Eve and would like to say a huge 'Thank you' to you all for a fantastic night. The food was lovely, the music suited all ages and made sure we were up dancing all night and the staff really friendly. How you managed to serve all those people, clear everything away and be still smiling was amazing!! We would recommend the night to anyone who wants to have a great night and a good view of the fireworks. Well done!! Hope to see you all again in the future.

We recently used the King Edward boat for an exclusive launch party. With a captive audience of over 100 key customers and potential clients, it was imperative that the event went smoothly and impressed those who attended.
From the initial planning stages of the event, right through to when the last guest stepped off the boat, Lynne and Steve provided priceless support that helped us ensure things went without a hitch. Their knowledge of events, and approachable, organised nature, meant we could depend on them for many key elements of the occasion, which ranged from supplying Champagne and a fully stocked bar, and suggesting a great band who perfectly fit the brief, to the finer details, such as flower arrangements and general layout.
Lynne and Steve were always available for us to consult, and let us visit their boat whenever we asked them to, so that we could continue our planning. They were extremely accommodating, letting us add our own decor to the boat, such as fairy lights, banners and display boards, and were always on time.
At the launch itself, they were friendly to the punters (from whom we've received some fantastic feedback) and helped us in any way they could.
I can't recommend them enough, and we'll definitely be using them again!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for a fabulous evening last night despite the pouring rain. Everyone once again had a really great time. Thank everyone for me, you all worked so hard, and a big thank you to the chef for standing and cooking in that rain….! It was lovely to see you all again and always so friendly and welcoming and everything ran so smoothly. Wow, I was so bowled over by the champagne you gave me. When you have a minute can you put a invoice over to me for the drinks bill. See you next year!!

I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for a fantastic evening sailing on the Thames. You were very welcoming and accommodating of all our requests. My guests loved the boat and really enjoyed the food, thank you for putting on such a great spread and BBQ. The boat was looking fantastic you have clearly worked very hard. I have not considered Christmas yet but feel free to provide me with some options to look at so I can consider.

Wedding Reception Cruise

We received excellent service from Kings Cruises in the months before our wedding. Leah was able to answer all our questions we had with organizing all the planning aspects. This helped a great deal and ensured that on the big day everything went to plan. Would recommend their services to other couples thinking of having a wedding reception onboard. We had 50 guests for the reception and about 40 more for the evening and there was enough space for everyone to enjoy the occasion.

I would just like to thank you and your team for a wonderful New Years Eve. It was fantastic, an evening to remember. We could not sit at a table on the lower deck and therefore had most of the evening on the upper deck which was better for us as we could see everything going on. We were suitably dressed nice and warm and with our bottles of wine etc had a fantastic time. Everyone was in a really good mood, even queing for the loo we made the gents que with us and take their turn. Really a wonderful evening. Will come with you again in a couple of years time.

I have just returned from London and spent NYE with you guys on the Avontour boat cruise. Myself and the rest of the party would like to express our sheer delight and amazement at the cruise. It was too good to put into words. We wasn't expecting the cruise to be so much fun and we met some fantastic people when we were onboard. The drinks offer was awesome and the food was great. The position for the fireworks was perfect. Also I would like to draw attention to your amazing bar staff who were on hand all night to make sure you were never without a drink. ( however next year get them screw top wine I'm sure their hands were in bits come the end of the night) The staff were a true credit to your trip and without them it just wouldn't of happened so smoothly. We are already considering booking for next year..... our only reservation would be the chance that you wouldn't get a seat on board. There were a few couples that wasn't lucky enough to get a table and they looked pretty upset about it. Maybe just squeeze a few more on or make the tables slightly smaller.

I am sure the Master will be in touch direct, but I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say how much our members enjoyed yesterday's river trip. Everything matched, and indeed exceeded expectations. Everyone was most impressed with the standard of the catering - we have done similar trips before but the food on those was nothing like the standard your staff managed to achieve. We were lucky with the weather too, but that I think none of us can take credit for! I would be grateful if you would please pass on our thanks and congratulations to everyone involved, and indeed thank you for your help pulling it all together.

Wedding reception on the King Edward

My new wife and I would like to give a massive thank you to the crew of the King Edward for helping to make our wedding the best day of our lives. The company was incredibly helpful and understanding before the day which really helped lower our stress levels. On the day everything was setup as we wanted it and on time. We had 67 guests and I think this was the maximum the boat could happily deal with as we had the food upstairs and the dancing downstairs. They do have bigger boats. We had the four course beef roast dinner, which we all thought tasted nice and was good value at £20 a head. This is a lot cheaper than most wedding catering. The upstairs looked lovely with good quality furnishings. They were also happy for us to setup our own flowers and decorations before the meal. Also the boat has no minimum spend at the bar which helped to remove the stress. The DJ was good and was happy to be regularly contacted before the wedding to make sure he had all our favourite songs. I am recommending this company to all my friends and to anyone who reads this review. I hope you go with them and also have a wonderful day.

The boat trip was excellent helped by fantastic weather. The food was really good and I know my friends really appreciated the wheat free pasta. The jazz band was great and everything went really well. Thanks very much to everyone at King Cruises.

We are feeling very pleased with the whole event: the river trip itself was extremely well received, the team on the boat was terrific, (with Steve and Lynne coping with my anxiousness admirably!) the boat looked in fine fettle and the weather was well nigh perfect.
In all, a memorable day to mark our 40 years of marriage and a few other milestones as well.

We used King's Cruises for an office party for 40 people. The assistance and service received from the company, whilst organising the event and on the actual event itself, was simply first class. First of all, please pass on our thanks to Steve, Lynne and all concerned at King Cruises for an absolutely wonderful Saturday evenings cruise on your boat. Every one of us commented on the excellence of the food, the friendliness of all the staff on board, the brilliant and humorous running commentary as we traveled down river to the flood barrier, and the 2 lovely girls playing the violin and cello. I thought that the venue was ideal for a fun team night out, the front deck was lovely for experiencing London on a summer evening. The staff were very friendly and the food was plentiful and of high quality. The casino team were fantastic and great fun. Overall a great night was had by all. - Blomfield Group Team night out.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we booked, leading up to the event and on the day itself. The boat was a perfect size, it was nice to have an indoors and outdoors section and there was plenty of room. We appreciated being able to put decorations up and were extremely grateful to the staff for tidying this up for us at the end of the night which was not expected. The DJ was good fun and played the right kind of music for the evening. The food was lovely, it was such a large spread and there was a great selection of drinks available.
